Alfredo Martínez is a founding partner of Kreston Venezuela and specialises in international taxation, Tax Technology, and digital transformation of the tax function. He holds a Doctorate in Law, earned his law degree from Universidad Metropolitana, qualified as a certified public accountant at Universidad Central de Venezuela, and holds an LL.M. from Leiden University together with graduate studies in international taxation. He has more than twenty-five years of experience advising multinational groups, investors, and private clients, including regional leadership roles at Deloitte Latin America and other professional firms. His work covers Pillar Two, cross-border planning, mergers and acquisitions, oil and gas, digital assets, automatic exchange of information, international sanctions, tax controversy, and artificial intelligence applied to tax. He is the founder of Global Tax Counsel LLC, a lecturer, speaker, and author on tax transparency, BEPS, and the emerging international tax order.
